A classic Middle Eastern dish featuring a flavorful blend of ground beef or lamb, bulgur wheat, and aromatic spices, baked to perfection.
1 | pound ground beef or lamb |

1⁄2 | small onion, finely chopped |
1⁄2 | pound cracked bulgur wheat |
1⁄2 | cup pinenuts |
1 | teaspoon each of allspice, cumin and salt and pepper to taste |
1 | teaspoon dried mint |

| 1. | Begin by washing the bulgur wheat, draining it, and allowing it to stand for 30 minutes. |

| 2. | Using a food processor, combine all the ingredients until well blended. |
| 3. | Prepare a small rectangular baking pan by buttering it, then press the mixture into the pan. Cut into traditional diamond shapes resembling Baklava, and drizzle olive oil on top. |
| 4. | Bake the kibbee at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes or until it achieves a beautiful golden brown color. |
